Veterans Waterfront Park

Veterans Waterfront Park stretches along the Lake Huron shoreline in downtown Port Austin, just west of the State Harbor. Opened in 2008 with the dedication of the Veterans Memorial, it includes a sandy public beach, a playground, an outdoor fitness park, picnic areas, restrooms/bathhouse, and the village's landmark half-mile accessible breakwall. It also offers kayak-launch access to the Broken Rocks water trail.
A partially enclosed pavilion is available to rent for gatherings.
