Port Austin State Harbor

Michigan DNR Harbor of Refuge in the heart of the village.

Port Austin State Harbor is a Michigan DNR "Harbor of Refuge" at the tip of Michigan's Thumb, sheltered by the federal breakwater on Lake Huron. In the heart of the village, it offers transient and seasonal slips within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and beaches, and serves as the launch point for the community's Fourth of July fireworks. The harbor operates seasonally from roughly mid-May through mid-September.

Amenities: water, 50-amp electricity, restrooms, showers, gasoline, diesel, pump-out, ice, boat launch, dog run, WiFi, laundry, and marine supplies.
