Bird Creek Park is a roughly 7-acre day-use public park and beach in Port Austin, surrounded on three sides by water — Lake Huron to the north and Bird Creek to the west and south. It features a large sandy Lake Huron beach, a perimeter boardwalk, a splash pad, a playground, restrooms and showers, horseshoes, beach volleyball, a kayak/canoe launch (a popular launch point for paddling to Turnip Rock), and fishing decks. It offers scenic views toward Turnip Rock and the Port Austin Reef Light.
